DailyGs ~ Gandalf, Grayson and Whitey

Some of you may remember our neighbor kitty Alice. She is still less than 2 years old. She is also a very tiny ladycat at about 6 pounds.

Well, a few weeks ago Alice had 3 female kittens. When Alice was just a kitten herself Mom took Alice to the Vet as a favor to our neighbor for her first examination and her first round of kitten shots. The cost surprised our neighbor. Despite Mom asking our neighbor about eleventy billion times after that if she could take Alice to the vet for the rest of her shots and to be spayed, our neighbor’s response was that he was just going to keep Alice inside so it wasn’t necessary.

Now these sweet kitties are here. Mom didn’t have the heart to ask our neighbor if Alice has ever had the rest of her shots because she’s afraid that she already knows the answer. Now there are 3 more kittens in the world that need Forever Homes. And while everyone loves to make a fuss over seeing kittens and puppies in a box, not many can or will take them home.

And this makes us have a very big sad.
